Here is a nice way of getting .com or .net domains for only $1.99 or 75% off and cheapest SSL certificates together. This only works if you order any product with Godaddy and it worked when I ordered my SSL certificate. Basically, you order any product on Godaddy.com and use any of the following coupon codes –

Save 10% on your order - cjccoupon
Save 25% off your order 75$ or more - cjccab25 or gds0124a
10% OFF any godaddy product - cjccab10 or cjcsave10
Save 20$ on your order of $100 or more - gdp0419a
6.95$ .COM Register and Renew - OYH3, cjc695dom and cjcab695

I used the “cjccoupon” promo code when ordering SSL certificate and Godaddy gave me the option to add any .com, .net, .org domain for $1.99 only. If you only want to simply register .com domain, just use the coupon listed above for $6.95 when ordering. Godaddy also offers .info domain registration for only $1.99. Basically, if you need SSL for your site, you can save $3.00 on SSL and at the same time get a domain name at 75% off. Thefore, you will end up paying around $30 for new SSL certificate and new domain name.

Once you have your domain registered, you will need cheap domain hosting. I personally don’t recommend Godaddy for hosting because they don’t offer much for the price they charge. There are other reliable web hosting companies that offer more and charge the same. Our current favorites for cheap domain hosting are Webhostingpad , Inmotion and Hostgator . Currently, Inmotion offers the best package at $3.00 per month. All three companies utilize cpanel for site control panel and provide excellent features at a low cost.
