34SP Launches Mini VPS Package PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 22 April 2008

UK Web hosting provider 34SP (34sp.com) announced on Monday that it has expanded its VPS hosting offerings with the launch of a new "mini VPS" hosting plan.

According to the press release, the mini VPS plan is aimed at small businesses and Web designers alike and the new product "marries the robust, stable 34SP.com VPS hosting platform with affordable pricing."

34SP says the new package is hosted on Quad Xeon 2.8Ghz servers and comes with at least 256MB RAM and 10GB storage. Each plan also comes with the Plesk control panel and the choice of CentOS, Debian, Fedora Core, Gentoo, Suse and Ubuntu. Prices start at £19.95 per month.

"Our VPS hosting packages have become wildly popular since their launch a few months ago," says Stuart Melling, 34SP's development director. "They have proven to be perfect solutions for high traffic domains, professional Web designers and cutting edge programmers. One major piece of feedback from our customers was that needed smaller, more keenly priced VPS hosting. We aren't ones to argue with popular demand, so we released our new mini VPS hosting package this week."

In February, 34SP launched a range of automated script installers that take advantage of its UK hosting plans and are designed to smooth the process of deploying Web 2.0 applications.
