Colocation provider Colo4Dallas (colo4dallas.com) announced late last week that it had upped its service level agreement to include a 15-minute reboot guarantee. The company, which operates a 28,000 square-foot data center facility in Dallas, Texas, says customers who wait longer than 15 minutes will receive a credit for one hour of free tech support valued at $75. "Some people may think that is a bold claim to make, but we've always responded to reboot and tech support requests very quickly, so it made sense for us to put it in writing," says Paul VanMeter, president and chief technology officer of Colo4Dallas. "Many of our new customers have switched from other facilities where they've had to wait hours or even days for a server reboot, but we're committed to getting customers back up as quickly as possible, often before they even have a chance to cancel out their trouble ticket."
