Broadband Internet service provider TeleWest (www.telewest.co.uk) announced on Tuesday that UK-based Web host Fasthosts Internet (www.fasthosts.co.uk) would deploy a managed Internet connection from TeleWest Business to support service delivery to Fasthosts customers.

The 500MB connection provided by Telewest Business via a 1GB bearer will help Fasthosts deliver Web hosting, domain registration, email and application hosting, dedicated servers and broadband connectivity.

TeleWest says Fasthosts will upgrade to its full 1GB capacity and install additional fiber lines to offer further scalability of its network, later this year.
