Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com) announced on Monday that it added the Limbo content management system to its Max and Mega plans in order to help Web site owners manage their site content.
The Limbo content management system can be used to create Web portals, blogs and e-communities. Limbo has additional modules for creating forums, news sections and visitor poll managers, which can be installed through the administration interface. Skins for changing the design of a Web site are also available. "We at Host Color believe that people should not be charged for using open source software. That's why we have developed free additions to our hosting packages," the company said in a release. "With them our customers can in seconds install the most popular open source Web site tools. Out installers do not require any technical expertise and are ideal for any webmaster beginner or professional." Limbo is a clone of the Mambo content management system, and is compatible with Mambo modules.
