Security advisory Secunia ( secunia.com) reported late last week that it had discovered a moderately critical vulnerability in the hosting automation solution hostingcontroller.com).
The flaw, which can be exploited to bypass certain security restrictions, affects version 6.1 of Hosting Controller. Secunia says other versions may be affected. According to Secunia, the problem is that no authentication is required to add users and hosts via the "addsubsite.asp" script. Hosting Controller has reportedly fixed the vulnerability.
