The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (icann.org) said on Wednesday that it would allow .xxx domain names for Web sites that display adult content, reports say.
 
Adult Web site operators will not be required to use the .xxx extension. But doing so would enable Internet users to find their sites more easily and at the same time help block adult content.
