The MSPAlliance ( mspalliance.com), a trade, consulting and educational training group for the MSP industry, announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Craig Valentine Brenner, CEO of New England Data Services ( neds.com), to the board of the MSPAlliance. Brenner was a key player in the growth of e-Business managed services company NEDS.
"Craig has consistently demonstrated a very forward thinking attitude that will serve the Board well," says MSPAlliance co-founder and president Charles Weaver. "We want individuals on the Board who will make sure that the industry is always moving forward, while ensuring its professionalism and integrity."
The MSPAlliance board is currently collaborating on an initiative that will offer managed services accreditation for member corporations. As the first of its kind in the MSP industry, says the MSPAlliance, the voluntary accreditation will establish a new level of professionalism, distinguishing accredited companies from their competitors by setting standards based on financial stability and technological capability.
As a member of the MSPAlliance board, Brenner will help create the MSPAlliance Managed Services End-User Guide and Manual that will enable members to provide their prospective clients with an informative guide to managed services.
