NTT Deploys Opsware for Hosting |

Data center automation software provider Opsware (opsware.com) announced on Wednesday that it had added NTT Communications (ntt.com) as a new customer for the Opsware Network Automation System.
NTT's AGILIT hosting service will deploy the solution for automation of its network devices. The company currently uses the Opsware Server Automation System for server and software automation, and also deploys its own proprietary software.
Opsware says its technology enables NTT to increase efficiency and reliability, making a 100 percent uptime SLA and on-demand capabilities available within a few hours.
"Selecting Opsware NAS enables NTT Com to deliver an even higher level of value to our hosting customers, by adding network device automation to our current automated hosting offerings," says Kazu Yozawa, vice president of the IT management services business division at NTT Communications. "Customers rely on NTT Com to manage their mission-critical operations, and the combination of Opsware's network and server software provides NTT with a powerful advantage in meeting their needs."
