Web hosting automation software developer Ensim ( ensim.com) announced on Monday that Canadian telco TELUS ( telus.com) had selected Ensim Unify as the hosting automation platform for its new hosted messaging and collaboration offering based on Microsoft Exchange and Windows SharePoint Services.
Prior to deploying Ensim, TELUS used an in-house solution. TELUS says it chose Ensim because of its ability to lower operations costs and enable faster delivery of services.
Robert Tasker, vice president of Product Marketing at TELUS, says Ensim enables the company to integrate value-added services to meet the growing demands of its market. "TELUS is addressing the pent up demand from SMBs for robust, feature-rich hosted Exchange 2003 messaging. With Ensim Unify, TELUS can achieve superior operational efficiencies and the lowest service delivery costs by delivering multiple offerings through a single automation platform," says Sandip Gupta, president and chief executive officer at Ensim Corporation. "Over time, the company can further leverage Ensim Unify's extensible architecture to launch additional hosted services and provide ongoing value to its customers."
