Web Host IpowerWeb Adds Data Center |

Web hosting provider IPOWERWEB ( ipowerweb.com) announced on Friday it has opened the doors to its newly expanded and upgraded data center in downtown Los Angeles. Serving as a hosting and storage environment for Web, data, and applications, the data center helps facilitate the needs of IPOWER customers, and includes a number of new enhancements.
Leading the new improvements is an added 6,000 square feet of data center floor space - four times its previous capacity. The center also boasts an expanded network topology, including two state-of-the-art Foundry Network NetIron's 40G next generation routers, as well as an expanded network capacity to 4G of usable bandwidth.
IPOWER has also added two redundant network routes into the data center from different providers. Its new smoke sensing system expanded fire suppression system improve the reaction time to any potentially threatening changes within the data center environment. Finally, 60 Tons of cooling was added.
