Web Host Verio Enhances VPS Offerings |

Web hosting provider Verio (verio.com) announced on Tuesday that it had enhanced its virtual private server offerings.
The enhancements include a new VPS control panel that simplifies administrative and maintenance tasks, and features customization designed specifically for resellers. Modules for webmail, user management and domain management are also included. In addition, Verio made the e-commerce tool ShopSite available as an add-on to the VPS control panel.
Verio says Tuesday's announcement is the latest in a series of Web hosting product and service enhancements the company plans to roll out this year. Verio upgraded its shared hosting plans last month.
"As the company that invented and introduced VPS to the marketplace, Verio continues to deliver service enhancements important to our customers," says David Chao, vice president of product management for Verio. "By offering businesses and resellers new utilities, such as our new control panel that makes it easier to utilize the power of a VPS, and e-commerce enabling tools, Verio helps customers to build and grow their online business presence."
