Web hosting provider WebStream (webstream.com) announced on Monday that it launched a Google Adwords search engine marketing program to its Web hosting customers. Google Adwords are text advertisements placed on the results page of Google searches. The advertiser, who pays only when the ads are clicked, predetermines the budget for each click and the cost of the overall campaign. WebStream says it will work with Web site owners to create the ads, selecting strategic keywords, along with the advertising areas and Web site properties on which to run the ads. Comprehensive reports that track all ad activity, including sale conversion verifications and return on investment reports, are also provided through the program. Webstream, based in Florida, says it will charge a flat fee for the service.
